The Repair of the World-Menachem Mendel Schneerson
Gene Lesman
Since the early years of Junior High School one of my main goals has been to help people and make a difference. After receiving my Bachelors Degree from California State University, Long Beach in the field of Business Administration / Marketing, I set upon my quest to help people.
With every job that I received in sales, marketing, and customer service I found myself actually helping a very limited number of people and not making a difference at all. About seven years ago I landed a job as the Director of Marketing and Events at The Rib Trader, in Orange, California. It was here that I started fulfilling my dream of helping people and making a difference. I started with a variety of fundraisers at our restaurant, from Keeping Music in Schools month to Disaster Relief Fundraisers to Rebuilding of the local Synagogue which had a major fire. It was during this time that I started learning about the Food Safety Requirements for restaurants.
A friend of mine encouraged me to become an Instructor in Food Safety and then later on I learned about the new Allergy Training Courses that were becoming available. It wasn’t until the world suffered the Pandemic of COVD-19 that I had the full and complete opportunity to build my business. Food Service Safety Training is more than teaching Food Safety and Food Allergy Safety courses that tell you what you need to do. It is about why we must instill these especially important practices in our daily routine.
By teaching managers how to teach their staff, and how their staff put this education into practice in the serving of their guests I will have achieved my goal of truly making a difference. Together, we will minimize the risk of Foodborne Illness outbreaks in your establishments, reduce the risk of guests having an allergic reaction, maximize the opportunity for growth and profitability while making our guests safe and secure and welcomed to your establishment.
